Malshej Ghat Drive Fotos

We were driving from Mumbai to our native place Nanded (600 Kms drive) for Gauri Ganpati. we took the Mumbai-Kalyan-Murbad-Malshej-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad-Jalna-Parbhani-Nanded route. Here are a few pics of the Majestic Malshej Ghats using my Samsung Mobile.

the beautiful ghats. it was splendid weather - the monsoons had just receded and so it was green everywhere, it was about 4.30 pm when we reached the ghats and the chill was getting in the air.... the ghat was different from what we had experienced in the monsoons (july-august times) when it was all foggy and rainy such that we were not able to see beyond 10-20 feet....everywhere on the road the waterfalls came crashing down and the the crowd was going wild getting drenched in the water - the rain and the waterfall, loud music and lotz of booze........this time it was different almost no one in sight except for an lonely truck or a tourist bus passing by......

Chandigarh - Kalka - Dharampur - Kasauli

@ Chandigarh - a very beautiful city @ Dharampur Railway Station - Himachal Pradesh... The Kalka Simla Toy Train..... @ Kasauli....trek at the Gilbert Trail - the vivekananda pose?? the majestic sunset at Kasauli Trek @ Kasauli the Gilbert Trail..it was a dusk and getting very chilly....being in the sun was the way to keep warm.....and a bit of running.... getting my way up :) :) On the Kalka -Simla toy Train.... the Kalka-simla toy train just moving from Dharampur station......thats me taking a pic from my sony erricson....
